Frequently Asked Questions
1. What classes does Lyfe Pilates offer?
We offer small-group Reformer and Mat classes, including Essentials, Progressive, Peak, Jumpboard, Stretch & Restore, Mums & Bubs, and Mat Pilates. Each class clearly states the level and focus so you always know what you’re walking into.
2. I’m new / returning / post‑natal. Where should I start?
Start with Essentials or our 21‑Day Strong Again Starter program. These sessions move at a steady pace, focus on form, and are ideal if you’re new, returning after a break, post‑natal, or managing niggles. Our instructors give options for every level.
3. What is the 21‑Day Strong Again Starter?
It’s our guided intro for new clients: up to 9 small‑group classes in 21 days, plus a 1:1 Strong Start assessment and a simple at‑home routine. If you attend at least 6 classes and don’t feel noticeably stronger and more confident, you can repeat another 21 days free or credit your $89 toward a recurring membership (conditions apply).
4. Do you cater for pregnancy, post‑natal and injuries?
Yes. We work with a lot of mums and women 30+ with real‑life bodies, not “perfect” ones. Let your instructor know about pregnancy, birth, surgery, or injuries so we can modify exercises. We may ask for medical clearance in some cases.
5. How do memberships work? Is there a lock‑in?
Our memberships bill weekly and are genuinely flexible. There’s no lock‑in contract, no cancellation fees, and no notice period. You can cancel any time by emailing info@lyfepilates.com.au.
6. Can I freeze or suspend my membership?
Yes. You can freeze your membership any time, for any length of time, with no freeze fees. All membership changes (freezes, cancellations, upgrades/downgrades) must be requested via email so we have a clear written record.
7. What is your cancellation and no‑show policy?
You can cancel a class up to 12 hours before the start time with no fee.
If you cancel within 12 hours or don’t show up:
A $15 fee applies.
If you’re on a pack or limited membership, you’ll also lose that session credit.
This keeps spots available and fair for everyone with only 9 reformers in the room.
8. How many classes can I book?
Your membership or pack will clearly state how many classes you can attend each week. You can book up to that number in advance, subject to timetable availability.
To keep access fair with limited reformer spots, we ask that you:
Only book classes you genuinely plan to attend
Cancel early (more than 12 hours before) if your plans change
Avoid stacking multiple “just in case” bookings on the same day
If you’re unsure what your current membership includes or how many classes you can attend per week, please email info@lyfepilates.com.au and we’ll confirm it for you.
9. What if I’m running late to class?
Studio doors are locked 5 minutes after class start time. If you arrive after that, you won’t be able to join and it will be treated as a no‑show (see fees above). We do this for your safety, to avoid disrupting a small class, and to keep the studio secure.
10. Can I bring my child, partner, or a friend to watch?
No. For safety, focus, and comfort, only clients booked into class and our team are allowed in the studio during classes. No children, observers, or non‑participating guests are permitted in the room.
11. What should I bring and wear?
Wear comfortable workout clothes and bring a water bottle. Grip socks are compulsory for all classes for safety and hygiene. If you forget, we have a range of grip socks available to purchase in the studio.
12. How do I book, cancel, or manage my classes?
You can book and manage classes through the Momence app or via our website. Log in, choose your class and time, and confirm your spot. You can also cancel from the app or website (remember the 12‑hour window for no fees).

13. Do you offer private or small‑group sessions?
Yes. We offer 1:1 and private group sessions for individuals, friends, and workplace teams. Email info@lyfepilates.com.au with what you’re looking for and we’ll recommend the best option for you.*
